Catching the Space Station with the RedCat51

Last night I attempted to star-hop from the moon with my William Optics RedCat51 250mm telescope. This is the “smallest” of my telescopes with the least amount of magnification - it’s actually designed for wide field deep space imaging, but I find it easier to star-hop with it’s wider view.

Side view of the RedCat51. It even has paw prints on it.

I used the moon as my first point of reference, then hopped to Regulus.

So, how did it go?
